Outside of Work: Jack Wheeler started his career at mustard but transferred to our London office after 12 months. Always leading the charge in the work fantasy football league where he is a past champ!

As a Founding Director of mustard, Dave Madden was instrumental in the creation of mustard. A quality first recruiter and excellent at building life long relationships with candidates and clients. Dave now focuses his time with Director level client engagement and working to maximise opportunity at our larger PSL clients.
Outside of work: Another Liverpool fan but this time one that hails from the region. Saying Dave is a cycling enthusiast is a little of an understatement with multiple L’Etape Du Tour’s under his belt!

As a Founding Director of mustard; Peter Browne has been involved in all aspects of the business since it’s inception. Now more heavily involved in the day to day growth and expansion of the mustard Bristol HQ, working with the Divisional leaders to help grow the business.
Outside of work: With 3 young kids to run around after, and a house renovation to complete this doesn’t leave Pete much time for his hobbies of mountain biking and hitting the beach.

Ian Prophet has been mustard’s FD from the outset of the business. A founding director and shareholder from day one his strong financial management has enabled the business to grow in a controlled manner. He has overarching management responsibility for the back office function of the business.
Outside of work: Very often last man standing at the company socials, Ian is also regarded as the man to beat at the company pool tournament and the work fantasy football league!

Joe Bungey is our Operations Director and one of our leaders of the Built Environment team from the Bristol office. As an Architectural Graduate from Cambridge University, Joe came over to the dark side of recruitment over 4 years ago and hasn’t looked back. As an Architectural enthusiast Joe gets to talk about people and practices work all day every day, he loves it!

Outside of Work: Known to be pretty handy making and designing random things and also running marathons!

Phil has over 10 years of creative recruitment experience, working at mustard he has covered the Interiors, Events, Architecture and Marketing Design sectors.  These 10 years has led Phil Boshier to his current role as Associate Director – People & Culture leaving him to spearhead internal recruitment, training and retention program. Phil also mentors the Events & Exhibition, Interior Design & Marketing Design recruitment consultants ensuring they are given the best opportunity to develop in their roles at mustard. 

Outside of Work: Phil is a keen cook, Leicester City fan, cricket badger and an attempt anything once DIYer. 

Daniela Kent is our Associate Director of Finance and Administration, her role is vast but includes running our Administration team, HR processes and utilising her extensive knowledge. From processing timesheets, expenses, payroll, chasing invoices, for over 13 years with mustard, there isn’t any area of back office that Daniela doesn’t know the ins and out of.
Outside of Work: From a large Italian family with heritage in Sicily, Daniela takes no prisoners! Also the owner of “Roxy” the Sprinadoodle that is often in the mustard Bristol office spreading joy.

Gregg Raven has joined the finance team as a Financial Controller, bringing experience from Big 4 accountancy and recently a Finance Manager at a large energy supplier, he’s looking forward to getting more hands-on at Mustard!

Outside of Work: Gregg enjoys the consistently wild times his springer spaniel brings and consuming a good amount of the local Bristol beers.

As a Contractor Care Administrator, Ebony Bates is a crucial part of the mustard family. At the beginning of her administrative career, she’s looking forward to the progression that mustard can offer

Outside of work – Always got a cocktail in her hand every Saturday night and passionate about the gym. Ebony is looking forward to leaving Wales to move to Bristol soon.

Archie Harvey started his role as a recruitment consultant and has progressed to Associate Director. Archie has been instrumental in the success and growth of the mustard XP division. Working with clients and candidates, helping them to understand the best recruitment solutions from our range of products.

Outside of Work: Another of mustard’s big sport fans, if he’s not playing cricket or tennis he’ll be hiking up and down the whole country!

Leading the BE team, Oscar Dixon-Barrow is a highly experienced recruiter who’s worked up the ranks of the business to become Associate Director. With over 9 years in the business, Oscar has worked across permanent and contract recruitment for mustard placing candidates in roles across the UK.

Outside Work: Oscar was a lynchpin of the office 5 a side football team but this has had to take a back seat with the arrival of his 1st child. Also a keen festival goer and 1st to put the Reggae on the office music system!

Jack Perks is one of a few consultants at mustard that have studied at UWE and is based out of our Bristol office. As a senior consultant, he specialises in placing candidates in to the buzzing Midlands Architectural and Built Environment market. He is from the region himself having grown up in Worcestershire and he joined us from an event sales background.
Outside of Work: Jack regularly takes advantage of the vibrant Bristol music scene.

After working in the hospitality industry for years, Elaine Connell has moved to the recruitment industry to develop her career. As a seasoned Talent Partner, Elaine has proven herself as a high hitter in the BE team.

Outside of Work: Elaine is a huge GAA fan, supporting Mayo. Also loves to relive her youth with a bit of soft shoe Irish Dancing.

Joining us at as a Recruitment Executive, Aaron Roche stepped into the world of recruitment at the turn of the year and hasn’t looked back since. With previous sales experience in other industries, he’s solutions orientated.

Outside of work: He enjoys going for a bite to eat and a tipple, almost as much as playing football… and most importantly he’s a big Liverpool fan .

Martha Cumiskey is an experienced Recruitment Executive, placing candidates within the Built Environment sector. Having graduated University a few years ago, Martha studied English Language and Linguistics. She’s built advanced skills in communications with her background in hospitality and her time solo backpacking around Australia and South East Asia.

Outside of work: This social butterfly is always surrounded by lots of people, enjoying her pub but also returning home to North Devon to spend time at the beach with friends and family.

Joining us as a Recruitment Researcher, Riley recently moved from Melbourne to Bristol. With previous experience in the sales sector as a Broadcast Sales Coordinator at one of Australia’s largest media distributors, Channel 9. Prior to that, Riley studied Media and communication at Swinburne University of Technology in 2021, majoring in Social Media.

Outside of work: Riley’s into sports, music and music festivals. As he settles into Bristol, he’s ready to start growing his list of international friends.

Crawford Auld is a crucial member of the ID team, covering interior design roles in West London as a Senior Consultant. Since joining mustard mid 2021, from a background in telesales, this bright spark has been fostering relationships with top brands in the interiors world.
Outside of Work: When Crawford isn’t busy recruiting, he can be found seeking out the best street food in Bristol!

Charlotte Berrow is a Recruitment Executive for the mustard ID team, having recently finished studying Criminology an Psychology at UWE, she’s excited to get started within the creative recruitment industry.

Outside of work: Charlotte enjoys visiting the beach, spending time with my friends and going for the occasional drink.

Hannah Lawry is a Principal Consultant for mustard MD and her desk focus is on all creative based roles in the South of England but predominately across London and Bristol. Hannah works with a mixture of agency and in house clients placing Graphic and Digital Designers, UX/UI Designers along with more traditional branding and packaging designers.
Outside of work: Hannah is a regular at Carnival fitness, when she’s not dancing to Soca, Hannah spends her time with friends at one of Bristol’s many cocktail bars or taking her daughter to see what’s on at Bristol Hippodrome.

With a 10/10 NPS score, Molly has built her reputation being a Recruitment Executive with a strong focus on quality service. With a background in sales and management, she’s chosen to steer away from retail and explore her interest in the creative realm; recruiting for creative, marketing and design roles in Bristol.

Outside of work: Molly is a huge foodie and loves visiting all the new food spots, from burger vans to fancy restaurants. When back in her hometown, she likes to spend time with her cats

Ben McKenna-Smith’s recruitment journey began in the Health and Safety industry, placing freelance professionals across The Netherlands and Belgium before joining the FX team here at mustard. Now, as a talented Recruitment Executive, he’s ready for your call. 

Outside of work: Usually found on the rugby pitch but when he’s not chasing the egg, Ben enjoys playing video games and spending time with my friends & family, usually down the local pub!

Emily Preen is an experienced recruiter, running her desk as Lead Consultant serving London. She recruits for the Events, Exhibitions and Experiential market.
Outside of Work: Emily has just moved to Bristol so spends her free time exploring the city and seeing what the nightlife has to offer.

Ben Hackston, Talent Partner is another member of the highly achieving Team XP. He recruits for permanent roles in the London area. Ben has a degree in Event Management and an extensive knowledge of the nightlife sector from playing DJ sets and running club nights in the local area, making him an ideal recruiter for the events industry.
Outside of Work: When Ben isn’t working or hosting events, he can be found skateboarding with friends.

Tia Auguste joined us as through the mustard Graduate Intake Scheme, but has worked her way up to a Recruitment Executive. Having graduated at UWE in Law in 2021, she’s excited to get stuck in as part of our XP team.

Outside of work: Tia enjoys getting creative through songwriting, and is a vocalist, predominantly within the Drum and Bass scene.

Joining us as Divisional Lead for mustard TD, Emily has 4 years’ experience in Technology Recruitment, covering a range of technical specialist roles across Software, Product and Data, and specialising in Infrastructure, DevOps and Technical Leadership positions. She has supported hiring for a range of companies, from start-ups to enterprise businesses and global household names. Industries include: Software Houses, Managed Service Providers, FinTechs, Law Firms, Telecoms, Medical Devices, Hardware Devices, Educational Facilities, Media /Production & Entertainment.

Outside of Work: Emily volunteers with young people in foster care & care leavers to provide career planning and confidence building workshops. She likes to have fun at festivals, and has a keen interest in art and theatre.

Amelia Ware, a recent Economics and Business management graduate from Newcastle University, is starting her journey at mustard as a Recruitment Researcher, having recently relocated back to her home town of Bristol.  

Outside work: Amelia enjoys going to music gigs with friends, volunteering,  and playing sports including football and going skiing. 

Previously living in Glastonbury, Josh moved to Bristol joining the role of Recruitment Researcher. Advancing into the world of creative recruitment after primarily working in hospitality across Somerset and Reading.  

Outside of work: Josh is a big fan of going to watch gigs with friends, and a big fan of sports mostly supporting his club Chelsea. Spending most of his time sampling the pub scene of Bristol. 

Joining us as a Recruitment Researcher, Michael Hendey recently relocated to Bristol from the Isle of Wight. from studying Business and Management at the University of Portsmouth, he’s looking to branch away from the corporate business world and is looking forward to exploring his interest in the creative realm through the creative recruitment industry. 

Outside of work – Michael spent the vast majority of his life playing ice hockey recently taking a step back due to personal commitments and now enjoys spending time on the golf course with friends. Aside from sporting interests Michael has a passion for fashion and the clothing industry as well as going to music festivals and gigs with friends.
