This is an amazing opportunity to work with a leading commercial Design and Build practice in Central London on a part time basis.

We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to join their expanding team. With ever increasing workload, you will be required to jump straight into work, so an experienced head is necessary.

This BIM will involve overseeing the company-wide use of Revit as a BIM tool. In collaboration with the Directors and Technical Design Team, the BIM Specialist contributes to and participates in the creation and implementation of Revit tools and resources in the office, as well as the scope and content of training and desk side support.

As BIM Specialist you will consult with active project teams regarding model strategies and lessons learned; and further uses those lessons to help shape and develop office BIM standards and firm-wide resources.

Reporting to the Owner/Technical Directorr, we are ideally looking for candidates with a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience and who enjoy working as part of a dynamic team or on their own initiative. You will come with an in-depth knowledge of interior design construction packages, as well as possessing knowledge of building construction.

A good knowledge of building regulations, an understanding of the planning process, the acoustic criteria required for workplace design and knowledge of performance specifications would be a benefit but not necessary.

Predominantly office based, you will be required to visit site at times and should therefore have relevant site experience. You will be supporting the creative designers with any technical queries and will have an understanding of BREEAM and CDM regulations.

To apply for this role, you will need to supply a strong CV and portfolio to demonstrate your experience and skill set within this sector of commercial workplace Design and Build. Due to the urgency and high standards required for this role, we will only consider designers with the appropriate level of experience and those who can demonstrate their skill set in an appropriate PDF portfolio.

Salary will be subject to negotiation and based on experience.
Only candidates who are eligible to work in the UK will be considered.
