Halloween Campaigns That Got Us Spooked!

The best spooky marketing campaigns of 2024 

It’s that time of year when the creativity monster is unleashed. Marketing professionals grasp at every Halloween themed pun, play-on-words and joke, they can munster muster.  

So, without further adieu let’s jump into the campaigns that really pulled it out of the bag this year. 

 

Heinz 

It starts with Heinz…  From last year’s campaign, they’ve relaunched their brand packaging to be a bit more blood-like. They’ve also introduced black garlic mayo!?  

They took it a step further this year, with a monster collaboration. Monster Munch! Though this limited-edition collab only sported 1,000 editions of the munchy mayo.  

Heinz’s mastermind, creative agency, Gut Agency smashed it this year, coinciding this sinister campaign with the latest Joker: Folie à Deux movie. The campaign draws from the Joker’s iconic makeup, formed from Heinz’s ketchup. 

 

Liquid Death 

Rising to stardom with their distruptive marketing campaigns… Of course, Liquid Death we’re going to make it onto our Halloween list! 

This year, they’ve decided to partner with the craft and baking queen, Martha Stewart. Not the first choice for spooky season, but the juxtaposition of kindness and murder in this campaign is truly haunting. But, don’t trust my judgement, watch it for yourself here. 

 

 

Burger King 

Burger King is making their Halloween campaign a family affair with their Adams Family Collaboration. Serving up a limited-edition crown, and kids meal box. 

Across the pond, in the US, they’ve taken it a few steps further, by offering a limited edition purple burger, named the ‘Wednesday Whopper’, which has caught the eyes of not only Burger King fans but also a range of social media influencers. They brought out a few extra spooky snacks, but the limited-edition whopper has won the attention of the public.
