A busy and growing studio based in Northern Quarter specialising in the specification and procurement of furniture, lighting and accessories for architects, interior designer and developers across the UK are seeking a Sales and Accounts Coordinator.

You’ll be responsible for the administrative processes and coordination of this design-led company's sales and accounts activities, as well as providing operational support, project tracking and general administration duties. You’ll also work closely with suppliers and the internal team, to best exceed client needs.

We are looking for candidates who are uber-organised with meticulous administration skills. You’ll have a positive team spirit, and are excited to work in a small, but ambitious company to help fulfill the potential of our brand.

Demonstrating strong sales administration experience your duties will include managing the fulfillment of customer orders in a timely and cost-effective manner and efficient administration of purchase orders with suppliers on the day a customer order has been placed.

A keen eye for detail will be required in checking that supplier confirmations explicitly match purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with the salesperson along with daily monitoring and management of the order book, resolving any ad Adhoc issues by the end of each working day to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

You'll be confident in checking correct pricing and questioning any queries with supplier companies e.g. carriage charges or price increases – enabling clean invoices to be passed for processing, your friendly and approachable personality will make it easy to liaise with internal team about incoming orders/orders received.

Accounts Administration Duties will include accurately recording and maintaining all day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable (purchases/suppliers ledger), accounts receivable (sales/customer ledger), receipts and payments & checking that accounts are accurate and balanced at the end of each day to ensure the Director’s dashboard is always up to date.

You will ideally have two years’ experience in a similar role and creative office environment & be familiar with accounting software packages. A confident communicator and a passion for customer service is a must as if being comfortable with credit control and dealing with supplier issues.

High level of numeracy and verbal/written literacy in English& IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (proficiency in Microsoft Excel).
