Business Development Manager - Exhibitions

One of the UK's leading Brand Experience and management agencies is on the look out for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the BD team and continue to build upon it's already impressive client portfolio. The agency works across brand strategy and experience design, exhibits and branded environments, live events, experiential marketing campaigns and event technology. They have a great culture which makes this a great opportunity.

The ideal candidate will develop excellent relationships with assigned prospects to drive new business growth in line with agreed personal objectives. As the BDM you will support the MD and you will be targeted on going out and building business through the strategy outlined by the SMT. You will work along side the other departments to ensure that this synergy is maintained. Their will be a large element of cold calling, but just as much face to face time and onsite visits. Work is varied across hospitality environments, exhibitions, events and experiential marketing campaigns so experience building relationships across these activities is valued.

They are after someone who brings proven net new business sales experience from a comparable agency, ideally with an understanding of B2B exhibitions and brand experiences, as well as a wider variety of B2B events. Background in B2C is a bonus and may factor into future growth plans, but as 98% of our current business comes from B2B activity, this remains their target for the next 12 months.

Salary bracket is £25-50k basic plus bonus/commission. This will be dependent on experience level.
